I know most moms with little kids and schooling kids can relate, for baon preparation, breakfast and main meals daily di ba?

  • Buy in bulk – bulk buying is proven way to save especially for grocery and pantry items. Buying in big volume or liters can save you a lot sa cooking oil mommies.

  • Take advantage of promos – yung mga naka-buy 1 take 1, or buy 1 and get 20 off sa    next bottle, sobrang sulit din yun mommies.

  • Use different oil for deep frying – we are using Canola oil sa mga saute or “gisa” recipes, but we’ve discovered na malaki ang matitipid kapag for deep-frying palm oil ang gagamitin. So we will stock up two kinds of cooking oil at home, canola and palm oil.

Pwede sya up to 5x re-frying, hindi mabilis umitim yung oil mommies. Depending pa rin to mommies sa mga food na pina-fry and kung gaano ka-extreme yung pag-fry. So if used properly, we can really save talaga in our cooking oil consumption.

But wait, maybe like me, you also heard about Palm Oil having some bad effects on our health? I asked about it mommies during our oil demo last year, and I’m surprised that aside from Olive Oil, palm oil also came from a fruit. And may mga health benefits din ang Palm Oil like it is high in beta carotene, equal portion yung saturated fat and unsaturated fat, it is also rich in Vitamin A which is good for the heart and brain.

Claro Palm Oil, infairness mommies, is sobrang clear dahil dumaan sya 5-step process and filtered twice. Kaya compared to other palm oil brands, less smell, clearer color, mas matagal din sya mag-solidify mommies.

We also did a little experiment at home moms:

I hope these tips help you mommies to save more in your kitchen needs. Happy and Tipid cooking!!

Ako din, I have a variety of cooking oil in my kitchen – canola, olive, and sesame oil. I have tried Claro before and okay siya for frying. 🙂

we are using lauric oil for deep frying and pomace na olive oil for mga gisa gisa lang.

I also use a cheaper oil for frying and reserve the olive oil for pasta and salad dishes at home.
