KKK o Kilusang Kontra Kuto with LiceAliz

Hay… sana noon pa may “Kilusang Kontra Kuto”

Because almost one third of public school students are affected by head lice infestation. Lamoiyan Corporation’s Licealiz Head Lice Treatment Shampoo continues the battle against the public concern as it launches Kilusang Kontra Kuto (KKK) year 3.

Alam nyo ba mommies na ang “kuto or head lice” ay second sa most common health problem sa mga public schools sa bansa natin, ang una ay tooth decay.

Head lice infestation continues to be a significant issue in most public schools in the Philippines. Lamoiyan Corporation’s Licealiz Head Lice Treatment Shampoo initiated in 2016 the KKK or Kilusang Kontra Kuto, a coalition that has been battling head lice infestation nationwide.

Students were treated with LiceAliz, they were given their own “suyod and white towel” as well as a story colouring book about head lice.

Lamoiyan Corporation has partnered again with the Department of Education, University of Philippines College of Public Health, Drugstores Association of the Philippines, and Mommy Bloggers Philippines for this year’s Kilusang Kontra Kuto.

Sa bansa natin, madaming mga myths or wrong beliefs which became one the biggest hindrances sa pag-eliminate ng head lice.

Most common myths:

  • Bad hygiene ang cause ng kuto – kahit sobrang linis pwedeng magkakuto
  • Long hair ang madalas magkakuto – kahit batang lalaki pwedeng magkakuto
  • Nalipad ang kuto – actually hindi ito totoo mommies, wala silang pakpak.
  • Mayonaise & Kerosene ang treatment – this is a possibly harmful treatment mommies, head lice shampoo are what physicians do recommend against head lice.

These are just some of the false information ingrained in Philippine society that Licealiz continues to dispute. Head lice may be rampant, but it can be treated with the correct information and proper methods like using shampoo specifically for the treatment and prevention of head lice such as Licealiz Head Lice Treatment Shampoo.

Kaya isa sa ginagawa during KKK (Kilusang Kontra Kuto) ay short seminar or talk by a Dermatologist para sa mga parents and students.

Lamoiyan Corporation is inviting everyone to join their fight against head lice and be part of the Kilusang Kontra Kuto Year 3.

How to avoid having head lice?

Sobrang common ang head lice sa kids especially younger years, they love playing closely with hair-to-hair contact, loves borrowing each other’s hats, combs and etc. di ba mommies?

  • Teach your kids not to share combs with other kids
  • Always check your child’s hair
  • Use LiceAliz for prevention (don’t worry mommies safe ito sa kids, Meron itong active ingredient na Pyenthrin, isang all natural extract galing sa Chrysanthemum flower)
  • Use fine-toothed comb
