We are so blessed to explore Masasa Beach bago pa sya maging crowded. We spent two days of Simple Living in Barangay Tingloy.

Sobrang Raw and Authentic Beauty of Nature, Masasa Beach is indeed one of the hidden gems of Batangas.

Put up a tent (no longer allowed during night time) or In our case, we rented a room at Tre Bale Vista Inn, a family owned rest house converted to a public resort. We’re able to chat with the owners, who used to have a business in Manila before. The Bale Inn is just few steps from the port, and tricycle terminal, so mas convenient mag-antay ng alis ng bangka and pati tricycle going to Masasa Beach.

For as low as P300-350/head (updated price)24 hours kuryente sa Tre Bale Vista Inn, namamatay po kuryente sa Brgy. Tingloy pagdating ng 12MN to 12NN.

MASASA BEACH WITH TODDLER:

Extra-challenging po ha. Bring Babywear Gear, bring insect repellant, bring your own utensils – medyo luma na utensil sa resort, so mas better bring your own.

Snorkeling P100/person (Kuya Mar 0910-5521226)

Meet new friends, ambabait ng tiga-Tingloy..

WHERE TO EAT:

“Sa amin po ang hotdog, kay Zee ang fish” (hehe)

Fresh Fish great for ihaw-ihaw from Anilao Port.

HOW TO GET THERE:

From Alabang (pwede din sa Cubao) : Bus going to Batangas City Grand Terminal (approx. 2 hrs | P127)

From Batangas City Grand Terminal jeep to Anilao Port (45 minutes | P37)

From Anilao Port Boat Transfer to Tingloy, Island (45 minutes | P80)

From Tingloy, Tricycle to Masasa, Beach (10 minutes | P15) + 10 minutes trekking sa Palayan

Boat Schedule: From Anilao Port to Tingloy 10:30 AM

From Tingloy to Anilao Port may 2:30 PM na last trip (kaso baka kapag konti po pasahero bumalik sa 9:00AM last trip)

Parking: You can park your private car at Anilao Port, however, I’m not sure if there are available security personnel in the area.

BUDGET:

Php 1,300/head (all in) = P 2,700 for family of 3 (Super Tipid Travel)

Sabi nga po nila, leave no trace, just footprints on the sand (bring your own trash bag)

Enjoy guys!

Wow! Ang mura nga, sis! Sulit na sulit na! Ang ganda pa ng lugar. Mejo malayo sya samin, Pero magandang lugar, at true, it’s not too crowded pa. Pag sumikat na to, you can say, you were one of the first few! 🙂

Wow, less than 3K trip. We always have a family outing in Laiya, Nasugbu and Calatagan but we’ve never been to Tingloy. Mukhang di nga crowded yung place. 🙂

Yes, super budget-travel though medyo challenging sya with kids kasi medyo mahaba travel but great chance nga to teach “boat” “sea” “animals” “sand” 🙂 Can’t wait to hear your travel story mommy.

I agree that this place is beautiful and parang napakarelaxing lang. I love nature also kaya na aapreciate ko talaga sya.

Great beach! Regarding the electricity, it’s like Burias Island pala. Our driver is from there, and he says that their island is very beautiful. ‘Yun lang, 6pm-midnight lang ang kuryente. That and the fact it’s soooo far are what hinders our family from vacationing there. Kawawa ang kids.

So mommy we will go there sa katapusan ng May 2017. Sabi kc nung mga kaofismate ko wala daw kc life vest for toddler yung from anilao port going to tingloy. And ok lang kaysa sa kids 3 yrs old na pumunta jan regarding dun sa lights off ata ng 12mn noh?

Mommy Neri, medyo malayo yung byahe from Manila, and matagal kayo nasa boat,
yes walang life vest for kids, data nalang kayo sis, nakabili ako sa Toy Kingdom mommy.

Sa tingin ko mommy, mahirapan kayo and si baby if kasama sya, may konting trekking din pababa sa beach mommy, sa 3 years old ok naman sis maeenjoy na nya medyo challenge lang ng konti 🙂

Just read this mommy! 🙂 We were there last weekend. So far ok naman yung byahe kasi hindi naman masyadong iritable si baby, good thing kasi breastfeeding kame so napapakalma sya if ever.
