M2 Malunggay, Okra & Ginger Iced Tea for Breastfeeding Moms (Review)

Are you looking for ways to boost your milk supply?

My little Zee was a breastfed baby for four years +  (Honestly, until now even if he’s turning 5 years old few months from now, he still wants “dodoy” before bed time). Our breastfeeding journey like most moms, during the first year was “difficult” but it is very rewarding, one of the best decisions I’ve made as a first time mom.

When Zee was still an infant, his pediatrician advised us to give him only organic soy milk or purely breastmilk because of his atopic dermatitis, to help avoid developing more allergies that can even lead to asthma.

A breastfeeding advocate also told us that breastfeeding is not just beneficial for babies pati pala si mommy, bumababa ang risk ng cancer because of breastfeeding. The longer, the better ang breastfeeding for both mommy and baby.

According to Standard and Poor survey’s last 2015, only 25% of Filipinos are financially literate. This would equate to approximately 75 million people who have no idea of financial concepts such as inflation, risk diversification, insurance, compound interest or let alone the idea of having a savings account.

This is a sad truth mommies, right?

Mommy Camille Prats & Practical Moms invest in children’s safety and quality products

In our country, we’re not that open and used to have car seats in our vehicle, most moms will just carry their babies while seated at the back of the car. (I am no excuse, guilty mom here) Shockingly mommies, it has been reported that an average of more than 600 children have died in road crashes from 2006 to 2014 here in our country.

Just how important are car seats for babies and kids? According to the World Health Organization, a good car safety system with rear-facing restraint can reduce the risk of injury for children aged 0-4 by 80 to 90%. Compared to having only a seat belt, where the risk of injury for children is reduced only by 32%.

Last year, the “Child Safety in Motor Vehicle Act of 2017″ was approved by the House of Representatives and is now for deliberation in the Senate.
